Carlisle Agricultural Commission approves Great Brook Farm summer event and seeks agricultural promotion budget. The commission unanimously approved a June 27 event at Great Brook Farm with an estimated $500 ice cream cost plus newspaper advertising, led by Mark Duffy and assisted by three commission members. The commission also unanimously approved its existing mission statement without changes.
Commission member Richard Hisey has requested an annual agricultural promotion budget in the range of $2,000 to $3,000 from the town administrator.
