Board of Health hires director, expands assistant hours

Carlisle Board of Health hires Kelli Calo as new director. The board voted unanimously to extend an offer to Calo, currently the coordinator for Great Meadows, with Chair Patrick Collins delegated to determine compensation terms; the search committee highly recommended her. The board also unanimously voted to increase Health Assistant Jennine Blum's hours to 35 hours per week for at least one month.
In other actions, the board appointed David Erickson to the Fire Station Renovation Subcommittee and designated the Health Director and Public Health Nurse as representatives to the Central Middlesex Medical Reserve Corps.
