Carlisle Conservation Commission orders enforcement action for wetlands violation

CARLISLE — The Carlisle Conservation Commission unanimously issued an enforcement order against property owner Jessie Pescatore at 509 South Street for unpermitted filling of bordering vegetated wetlands, requiring a restoration plan by March 23, 2026. Conservation Administrator Meghan Sullivan reported the violation was first observed in August 2025. The Commission also unanimously approved removal of five trees at 74 Robbins Drive and an invitation to bid for Phase 1 repairs to Cranberry Bog Dam #1, while continuing a February 26 hearing on Japanese knotweed removal at Greenough Conservation Land.
