CARLISLE CULTURAL COUNCIL APPROVES $3,500 IN WINTER GRANTS

Carlisle Cultural Council approves $3,500 in winter grants. The council unanimously approved the full allocation during its April 6 meeting, led by Chair Deborah Bentley, after reviewing six submitted applications with three identified as having substantial budgets: Mosquito Color Edition, Sound Equipment for Carlisle Public School Drama Club, and Cultura Latina Dance Performance. The council also accepted a $10,000 donation from a local benefactor designated for the Music Festival and established an honorarium range of $300 to $500 for speakers, teachers, and performers.
The council confirmed its website will launch by April 20.
