Carlisle Limits Transfer Station Parking To 15 Minutes

CARLISLE — The town has begun enforcing a new 15-minute parking limit at the Transfer Station, aimed at keeping traffic moving through the facility, according to a Town Hall announcement.

The Transfer Station regulation update limits parking within the facility to 15 minutes to "assure adequate traffic flow," per the town's announcement. Drivers who stay longer may be asked by a Transfer Station attendant to move their vehicle outside the facility and park elsewhere where it is legal to do so.

Separately, the town has posted the July edition of its Municipal Newsletter online, featuring monthly town and community news, celebrations and happenings; the town noted that community group submissions to the newsletter are welcome.

COMING UP

The Zoning Board of Appeals meets remotely Monday, Aug. 3. The Gleason Public Library Board of Trustees meets remotely Tuesday, Aug. 4. On Wednesday, Aug. 5, the Carlisle School Committee holds its next meeting at 10 a.m., and the Cemetery Committee also meets that day.
