Carlisle Releases August Municipal Newsletter

CARLISLE — The town of Carlisle published the August edition of its municipal newsletter Friday, the monthly roundup of town and community news, as Carlisle's civic calendar fills with a Household Hazardous Waste Day and four board and committee meetings over the coming week.

The Town of Carlisle posted the August Municipal Newsletter to its News Flash page Friday morning. The newsletter compiles monthly town and community news and welcomes submissions from local community groups, according to the town's website.

COMING UP

Carlisle's 2026 Household Hazardous Waste Day runs Saturday, Aug. 15, from 9 a.m. to noon, giving residents their annual chance to drop off hazardous materials.

The town's civic calendar picks up next week with the Community Preservation Commission meeting (hybrid) on Monday, Aug. 17. The Board of Assessors and the Land Stewardship Committee (remote) both meet Tuesday, Aug. 18, followed by the Carlisle Cultural Council (remote) on Wednesday, Aug. 19.
