Carlisle School Committee approves $14.5 million budget and 2026-27 calendar

Carlisle School Committee approves $14.5 million FY27 budget with expanded preschool services. Chair Brian Waterson and four committee members unanimously backed the $14,457,864 budget, which includes funding for two full-day preschool classrooms to meet demand from parent requests and Early Intervention referrals since August 2025. The budget represents a 5.28 percent increase over FY26.
The committee also unanimously approved the 2026-2027 School Calendar and rescheduled its February regular meeting to February 11 to avoid a conflict with the Regional District School Committee meeting.
