CARLISLE — Cemetery Committee advances fee and expansion studies to Select Board. Gordon Means, Chairman, reported that the Fee Analysis and Expansion Study are ready for board consideration ahead of the May Town Meeting, with presentations scheduled for next week. The committee also approved a new gravestone-size regulation specifying that memorial dimensions depend on lot size and require DPW Superintendent James Hall's approval.
Work continues on cataloging the old cemetery section, beginning with the Green Family Plot as the database entry starting point. The committee is developing a yearly budget after spending $828 so far this year.
