CARLISLE — Concord-Carlisle working group chose consultant Dr. Darnisa Amante-Jackson for fall professional development. The joint group, chaired by Brian Waterson, reviewed four potential leaders before deciding on Amante-Jackson, who is already working with the district and available in October.

Andrew Nyamekye, Director of DEIB, presented data sources for measuring the climate and culture initiative through student reporting frequency and survey trends. Sandeep Pisharody, Concord School Committee chair, supported the choice, noting the value of shared frameworks between committee and staff. Michelle MacDougall requested the proposal include conflict resolution and leading with dignity training.

The framework will go to the full school committee on September 23 for a vote.
