CARLISLE — Council on Aging and Human Services board moved its November and December meetings to Dec. 8. Chair Mary Cheever presided over the September 22 meeting at St. Irene's Church, where the board accepted its September 1 minutes by voice vote.

Director Geoff Kotowski reported that Samantha Dorn, the new Community Services Coordinator, would start September 28. Board member Abha Singhal reported about $14,000 returned to the town for FY26 and said COAHS would ask FOCOA for about $51,000 this fiscal year. Historical Commission co-chair Krissy O'Shea presented a proposed Demolition Permit Bylaw, and members questioned how it would affect seniors selling pre-1970 homes quickly, though no vote was recorded.
