Carlisle Historical Commission sets fall timeline for the Demolition Review Bylaw vote. Co-Chair Krissy O'Shea introduced two new Intent and Purpose sections — Planning and Sustainability Alignment and Sustainable Demolition — designed to strengthen the connection to the town's Master Plan and sustainability objectives. The Commission adopted a schedule based on Select Board guidance: final bylaw language due August 25, warrant signature September 22, warrant closure July 14, and a tentative October 18 Special Town Meeting vote.
Co-Chair Ben Herter will prepare a marketing plan and the Commission will coordinate with other town boards through the summer to finalize language and conduct public outreach at town events.
