CARLISLE — Committee approves hybrid system and $28K contract for Town Hall. The Municipal Facilities Committee unanimously voted to pursue a hybrid gas-electric HVAC system for Town Hall, with Member Eric Balles presenting calculations showing 90 percent reduction in fuel consumption. The committee also unanimously approved a $28,000 Weston & Sampson contract to design a pH balancing system for the town's water system, addressing corrosion and pinhole leaks in pipes.
