CARLISLE — Community Preservation Committee reviews six applications totaling nearly $1.4 million in CPA funding across historic, conservation, and affordable-housing categories. Gleason Library requested $300,000 to $500,000 toward a project whose cost has grown to $2.6 million; Library Trustee Kaitlin Waterson reported the library has raised $2.1 million to date. The Carlisle Affordable Housing Trust requested $200,000 for design documents for the Cranberry Bog House, with a detailed presentation scheduled for February 4.
The CCHS Amenities Building request is $427,720 to $465,460 for Carlisle's share of a joint project. Other applications include Historic Society facilities study ($30,000 to $40,000), Council on Aging rental assistance ($50,000), and conservation and legal expenses totaling approximately $80,000 across three initiatives.
