CARLISLE — Concord Carlisle High School School Advisory Council reviewed draft 2026-2027 materials. Members examined inclusion strategies, including tracking BIPOC participation in extracurriculars and supporting ten affinity groups, and discussed a planned ninth-grade club fair. The council heard concerns from teachers feeling pressured to balance rigorous academics with student mental health needs, reviewed potential policies for coordinating homework timing with student schedules, and flagged the impact of school devices on wellbeing.

Members also questioned whether the flex block program has become repetitive and questioned the availability of enrichment options.
