Carlisle Conservation Commission advances charter overhaul amid Woodward Fields dispute. The panel unanimously accepted a restoration plan for an unauthorized buffer zone alteration at 30 Robbins Drive and approved a revised Land Stewardship Committee charter that restricts voting membership to seven to 10 members and clarifies advisory roles. The Commission voted six to zero, with one abstention from Brian Murphy, to direct the Land Stewardship Committee to engage the Carlisle Conservation Foundation on a contentious Woodward Fields management dispute before escalating to legal counsel.
The CCF had raised concerns in a January 26 letter about the process. The Commission unanimously supported a transfer station proposal for voluntary organic waste diversion and approved bills totaling $1,674.72.
