Carlisle Conservation Commission approves Fire Station renovation and terminates agricultural license. The commission voted 5-0 with one recusal to approve renovation plans for the Fire Station at 80 Westford Street, including building addition and associated site improvements within the wetlands buffer zone, with conditions for well relocation notification. A separate 5-0 vote terminated the Grow Native agricultural license on Woodward Conservation Land, with commissioners Sylvia Willard and Melissa Webster noting concerns about the land's original acquisition intent and the need for collaborative solutions.
The commission also adopted revisions to the Land Stewardship Committee Charter and learned that geotechnical engineers recommend rebuilding the Cranberry Bog dam rather than repairing it due to extensive damage.
