Carlisle Conservation Commission approves tree removal and agricultural exemption at its June meeting. Glenn Sinsigalli received approval to remove 17 trees at 72 Brook Street with 28 native shrubs in mitigation, voting 6-0. The Commission voted unanimously for a Wetlands Protection Act agricultural exemption for fence removal and invasive-species clearing on Woodward Conservation Land.
It voted 5-0 to allow temporary water-level adjustment at Greenough Pond dam for water chestnut removal, contingent on confirmation the work will not interfere with ongoing hydrological data collection. The Office of Dam Safety issued a poor condition rating for Curve Street Dam, prompting staff to develop a repair versus removal decision framework.
