Carlisle Conservation Commission clears Likely Trail boardwalk, funds land maintenance. Acting Chair Melissa Webster and members Nick Ognibene, Sylvia Willard, and newly welcomed Tony Kiszewski voted unanimously July 16 to issue a negative environmental determination for a 33-foot boardwalk project at Likely Trail, clearing it for construction without further environmental review. Conservation Administrator Meghan Sullivan noted the project presents minimal environmental impact, matching six similar approvals over the past decade.

The Commission also unanimously authorized $20,200 for conservation land mowing and herbicide treatment through June 30, 2027, with work beginning at Towle and Benfield properties. Two residential development projects remained in continued hearings pending additional environmental review.
