Carlisle Conservation Commission advances charter for Land Stewardship Committee and postpones wetland decisions. The Commission unanimously voted to continue review of a fire station wetland delineation at 80 Westford Street to February 26, accepted a restoration plan for buffer zone violations at 30 Robbins Drive, and unanimously approved an administrative authorization for the Community Farm School. The Commission also unanimously backed a Transfer Station Action Committee proposal to encourage organic waste diversion and unanimously requested Zoo New England submit a revised habitat conservation plan for Foss Farm incorporating stakeholder feedback.
A draft Land Stewardship Committee charter proposing membership reduction to seven to ten voting members and excluding Conservation Commission members from voting roles advanced unanimously to stakeholder circulation, with a public hearing scheduled for March 19, 2026.
