Council on Aging advances formal trust fund allocation policy

Carlisle Council on Aging acts to formalize trust fund allocation policy and procedures. Director Geoff Kotowski reported that the Social Services Manager position ended March 17, with the Program Manager and Transportation Coordinator returning from medical leave in April; the board approved updated policies. Transportation ridership grew 35.2 percent year-to-date to 2,110 trips.
Four town trust funds totaling $172,491.70, with $109,913 available, would shift to a hybrid approval system. Guest speaker Kelly Magee Wright from Minuteman Senior Services reported that 54 unduplicated Carlisle residents received services in 2025, with the town's population 29 percent age 60 and older.
