Carlisle aging board approves updated policies and launches rental assistance review. The Council on Aging and Human Services voted to accept revised Policies and Procedures featuring a new Mission and Vision statement, while Chair Toni McBride established quarterly data-driven reports on rental assistance to address consistency concerns. Director Geoff Kotowski reported growth in program participation, particularly among under-55 and over-85 age groups, three new Friendly Visitors, and a 40 percent increase in transportation rides year-over-year.
The board received a $10,000 Greater Lowell Community Foundation grant for meals and transportation and approved the Carlisle Affordable Housing Trust's $50,000-per-year rental assistance sponsorship.
