CARLISLE — The Carlisle Council on Aging and Human Services board convened to define the data elements it needs for strategic guidance on senior services. Chair Toni McBride led seven members through a discussion of the board's mission and three main service areas: transportation, programming, and social services. The board outlined detailed transportation metrics it needs to collect, including ride volumes by category, unduplicated and duplicated rider counts, vehicle utilization rates, and data on unmet demand.

Board member Jerry Lerman will check the cost of the My Senior Center clicker app for data collection; the board also identified needs for demographic data, event-subscription tracking, comparable town benchmarks, and five- to ten-year projections.
