Environmental Sustainability Committee updates charter, approves contingency spending

CARLISLE — Environmental Sustainability Committee revises charter in first update since establishment. Co-Chairs Christina Christodoulopoulos and Eric Balles led discussion focused on mission and the committee's positive financial impact, requesting committee members submit revisions before the next meeting. The committee voted unanimously to spend up to $250 on invasive plant education booklets for distribution at town events.

Treasurer Alan Gilden reported the committee has $9,054.51 in current balance with $902.94 available to spend before the fiscal year ends. A group interested in Highland Building renovation proposals will present to the committee at an upcoming meeting.
