The committee is reconsidering HVAC strategy from all-electric to a hybrid approach with electric heat pumps, a gas-fired boiler, and 3,000 square feet of solar panels, raising concerns from Co-Chair Eric Balles about impact on Climate Leader funding of approximately $1.15 million every three years. The project targets a May 18 town meeting vote with final budget estimate due May 11.
