Fire Station Renovation Committee Settles on $17.5 Million Budget

CARLISLE — The Fire Station Building Renovation Committee settled on a $17.5 million budget proposal Wednesday for the fire station renovation. The committee endorsed the lowest general contractor bid from Seaver Construction at $14.442 million base plus $226,803 in alternates, along with identified risk items, soft costs, and contingencies totaling approximately $17.5 million. The committee will present the recommendation to the Planning Board on May 11 and the Select Board on May 12 before a town meeting vote on May 18.
