Carlisle's Gleason library reopens in temporary quarters during renovations. The Gleason Public Library Trustees approved July meeting minutes and heard that the interim location has drawn strong public use and the FY26 budget closed with 0.3 percent remaining. Capital campaign fundraising has brought in $20,000 in the past month, and the board is pursuing state earmark confirmation with Simon Cataldo.
Building permits for the permanent renovation should be approved within 30 days, pending final town review.
