Gleason Library trustees approve 2025 director evaluation and renovation progress.

CARLISLE — Gleason Public Library Trustees unanimously approve director evaluation and advance renovation planning. Library Director Martha Feeney-Patten met or exceeded all four goals for 2025, with trustees voting approval in draft form pending finalization of next year's objectives. The capital campaign has raised $2.14 million; trustees need $2.6 million to begin bidding and $2.8 million including furnishings.

The Massachusetts Architectural Access Board approved a staircase variance, clearing architects Schwartz Silver to finalize construction documents. Trustees explored a temporary $90,000 to $100,000 trailer relocation for the parking lot during construction.
