School Committee Meeting Agendas (Local and Regional) · Meeting of April 1, 2026
CARLISLE — Joint committees approve driver incentives and FY27 budget. The Concord and Concord-Carlisle School Committees voted unanimously to implement a two-pronged bus driver recruitment plan with a 2 percent cost-of-living adjustment, a $2,500 hiring incentive for already-licensed drivers, and a $1,000 referral bonus, at an annual cost of $18,000 for Concord Public Schools and $12,000 for the Regional District. The committees also unanimously approved the Concord-Carlisle Regional School District Proposed FY27 Budget and a formal revision to the CASE Collaborative Capital plan supporting future special education facilities, fleet electrification, and vehicle replacement.
By a vote of 6-0-1, the committees declined participation in the 2026-2027 Interdistrict School Choice program, citing building capacity constraints and inadequate transportation for non-resident students.
