Joint committees approve FY26 budget transfers, hire recording secretary
School Committee Meeting Agendas (Local and Regional) · Meeting of May 6, 2026
CARLISLE — Joint Concord and Concord-Carlisle school committees approve FY26 budget transfers with no net change. Assistant Superintendent Robert Conry presented reallocations driven by higher-than-anticipated benefit costs, a $375,000 OPEB contribution, and increased winter heating expenses, offset partly by higher-than-expected Circuit Breaker special education reimbursement funds. The committees also appointed Erin Higgins as Concord School Committee Recording Secretary and voted unanimously to approve three revised policies on building access, school visitors, and nutrition.
Andrew Herchek will continue as interim Concord School Committee chair through June 3.
