CARLISLE — Gleason Public Library Trustees approve phased July relocation to temporary space during renovation. The library will close July 14-21 and reopen July 22 at 1 River Road, with moving company Wakefield Moving & Storage managing the transition at approximately $40,000. The move will relocate 10 percent of the collection, store 50 percent, and protect 40 percent on-site.
The trustees also plan to resume capital campaign fundraising in the fall to raise approximately $150,000 more.
