CARLISLE — Municipal Facilities Committee agreed that design and engineering work should be done at Carlisle's transfer station. Tom Bilotta of the Transfer Station Action Committee presented a repaving and enhancement request that the group had voted in September to send to the Select Board for the DPW Building Project. The cost figure cited was $250,000, up from $100,000 five years ago.
The committee also discussed whether the Town Hall, library and DPW paving projects should proceed separately or together. It agreed to review the added engineering costs with Town Administrator Ryan McLane.
