CARLISLE — Municipal Facilities Committee approves minutes and focuses on library mechanical systems. Chair Jerome Lerman presided over the February 6 hybrid meeting with members Eric Balles and Bill Risso present; the committee voted unanimously to accept January 22 meeting minutes. The design team from Schwartz/Silver Architects and BLW Engineering outlined changes to the Gleason Library renovation's HVAC scope, including full flushing of fan coil piping before turnover, boiler control review to prevent short-cycling, and injection chiller control addition to the building management system as an alternate cost item.

The committee requested vestibule-level mechanical updates and tasked the MFC with providing specifications for existing electrical units to the design team.
