Municipal Facilities Committee · Meeting of May 12, 2026
CARLISLE — Municipal Facilities Committee unanimously backs $17.5M fire station project warrant article. Chair Jerome Lerman led the committee vote to support the project, which is on budget. The committee also reviewed multiple repairs: a Town Hall hot water tank replacement completed ahead of schedule, a $4,980 school elevator repair, and a $35,000 to $50,000 estimate to replace 112 deteriorating gymnasium sound-absorbing panels.
Facilities Director Stephen Connearney reported boiler leaks at the school and Town Hall; Town Administrator Ryan McLane requested a coordinated funding flow chart for the library renovation project, which requires one-third matching funds under the 2023 CPA grant.
