Municipal Facilities Committee backs library renovation funding and four warrant articles.

Carlisle Municipal Facilities Committee unanimously approved a $500,000 Community Preservation Act grant and a $579,000 HVAC allocation for Gleason Public Library renovation. Chair Jerome Lerman and members Eric Balles, Travis Snell, Scott Jamison, and Bill Risso also endorsed four warrant articles for the Annual Town Meeting: Article 3 for $407,405 in municipal facility maintenance; Article 5 for $1.4 million in DPW Building Project Design; and Article 6 for $1.3 million in Town Hall rehabilitation borrowing. Support for the $17.5 million Fire Station Project was deferred to the May 12 meeting pending final budget numbers and compliance verification.
