CARLISLE — Police Station Renovation Committee approves $5,246 in change orders for ongoing construction. The Committee unanimously backed three change notices and learned that APC Development has removed 265 tons of contaminated soil from the site following placement of three new underground tanks; soil removal costs are still pending detailed documentation from the contractor. Member Suzanne Spinney will walk through the station with Chief Andrew Amendola and two furniture vendors on February 13 to assess the station's equipment and fixture needs.
The Town Administrator will separately investigate radon remediation, water quality testing and filtration, and ice dam repairs on the building's north and south sides.
