CARLISLE — Police Station Building Renovation Committee updates on contaminated soil, foundation. The committee unanimously approved prior minutes and received a construction update from CMS, the project Owner's Project Manager, on work at 41 Lowell Street. Interior plumbing and HVAC work proceeds; a test pit in the new garage area revealed contaminated soil and water, prompting the architect to propose a revised footing and foundation design under cost review.
The Town Administrator will separately arrange radon testing and water quality assessment for the police station building. The committee meets next on February 6, 2026.
