Recreation Commission approves in-person training for summer program staff.

CARLISLE — Recreation Commission approves $750 in-person training for summer counselors. The three-member board voted unanimously to contract with Bright Moose Training for a 90-minute pre-program session, with Director Holly A. Mansfield tasked with scheduling.

The commission also voted to add two registration questions to identify Summer Fun attendees receiving school-based support via IEP, 504 Plan, or Individualized Healthcare Plan, and to permit staff outreach to schools for additional information. Spalding Field baseball diamond, dog park mowing, and other capital projects remain pending Finance Committee funding approval.
