Carlisle School Committee unanimously raises preschool tuition for FY27. Chair Brian Waterson presented comparative data from neighboring districts showing Carlisle's current fees were in line with similar communities; the Committee approved increases to the full-day program from $10,600 to $11,500 and half-day program from $7,200 to $7,900, with all five members voting aye. The Committee emphasized that scholarships and other financial assistance would remain available for families with demonstrated need.
The Committee also discussed superintendent succession planning and will develop a job description for review at the February 11, 2026 meeting.
