CARLISLE — School Committee outlines interim superintendent selection strategy. The committee considered four options for filling the interim superintendent role and determined that pursuing candidates from the Massachusetts Association of School Committees list combined with information from the district's Search Committee would be most effective. School Committee member Brian Waterson volunteered to lead candidate outreach efforts.
The committee scheduled two additional meetings to develop a candidate evaluation rating system and review resumes. Members noted that the interim superintendent will be expected to use the district's forthcoming strategic plan as a roadmap for priorities during the coming year.
