Select Board amends DPW committee charter, approves fire station loan.

CARLISLE — Select Board unanimously amended the DPW Building Renovation Committee Charter, shifting a seat from Board of Health to Finance Committee representation. The Board appointed Marc Bernstein as Finance Committee representative to the DPW committee, Richard Hisey to the Agricultural Commission for a term ending June 30, 2028, and Melissa Webster to the DPW Building Renovation Committee representing the Conservation Commission. Town Treasurer/Collector Sandra Nason reported the town secured a $1.4 million design-phase loan from Unibank for Savings at 3.5% interest for one year, undercutting the town's 4.5% budget estimate.
In a separate matter, the Board voted to approve a Community Preservation Act grant application for legal fees related to Cranberry Bog House removal from Article 97 protection, with David Model abstaining.
