Select Board · Meeting of May 12, 2026
Carlisle Select Board unanimously approves FY27 operating budget with new vocational tuition line. The $200,000 addition to cover tuition and transportation for up to four vocational students was offset by $50,000 in projected state aid and $150,000 from free cash, bringing the total operating budget to approximately $11.7 million, according to Finance Committee Chair James Catacchio. The board also unanimously approved the Community Preservation Act article recommending $500,000 for library renovation and $200,000 for Cranberry Bog House affordable housing design.
The Fire Station Building Renovation Committee confirmed the final project budget at $17,017,401, below the $17,500,000 authorization, and voted unanimously to defer roof replacement to avoid an estimated $375,000 additional cost.
