CARLISLE — Select Board voted unanimously on three committee charter amendments and discussed a major demolition review bylaw likely heading to November special town meeting. Most significantly, the Board reduced the Land Stewardship Committee from seven to five members to address chronic quorum shortages. The proposed demolition bylaw would impose a 12-month review period for buildings built before 1971, affecting approximately 38 percent of Carlisle's housing stock according to Assessors Chair Ken Mostello.

Building Commissioner Jon Metivier said his prior administrative concerns had been resolved, though the Board remains divided over the bylaw's scope and impact on property rights.
