Carlisle Municipal Facilities Committee considers $1 million-plus heating overhaul for Town Hall. Chair Jerome Lerman and members Eric Balles and Scott Jamison reviewed preliminary estimates ranging from $1 million for a hybrid system to $1.5 million for all-electric conversion, a significant jump above a prior $700,000 projection. The committee unanimously approved a $23,000 purchase for 30 school radios and programming.

The Grant elevator project starts July 13, and the library move is advancing with security systems in place.
