CARLISLE — Transfer Station Action Committee readies food waste mandate proposal for April 14 Select Board presentation. Chair Laura Snowdon led the committee in finalizing messaging materials, including a frequently asked questions document revised to use the term "food waste mandate" rather than "ban," and approved the first installment of "Trash Talk," a new monthly column in the Carlisle Mosquito covering waste reduction and incineration impacts, for publication April 10. The committee also distributed two compost containers to raffle winners from the Carlisle Garden Club's March 28 Seed Share event.
