CARLISLE — Transfer Station Action Committee unanimously appoints Kleyn, plans May audit. The committee scheduled a May 9, 2026 sticker compliance and traffic-pattern audit, the first in two and a half years, with Benjamin Sherry drafting a monitoring checklist for the April 12 meeting. Laura Snowdon chairs the panel, which discussed implementation costs should the Select Board approve a food waste ban: approximately $1,500 net per bin annually for two hundred additional residents composting, with John Petrie preparing frequently asked questions.
Tom Bilotta, John Petrie, and Laura Snowdon will contact select board members; the committee also plans Swap Shop improvements and a welcome-kit contribution for new residents.
