CARLISLE — Transfer Station Action Committee authorizes $500 for May 9 audit event. Chair Laura Snowdon, Vice Chair Ben Sherry, and four members voted unanimously to fund observations and data recording at the transfer station, with coverage slots from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a paper log tracking resident and hauler visits. The committee also unanimously approved a swap shop expansion DEP grant request, advanced the Welcome Kit with revised maps and kitchen bins, and confirmed Tom Bilotta will coordinate organics procedures with DPW Director Jim Hall and Black Earth following the Select Board's April 14 action on kitchen waste disposal.
