CARLISLE — Transfer Station Action Committee unanimously reappoints two members and adds a new one. Chair Laura Snowdon and John Petrie won three-year reappointment terms; the committee also approved Geoffrey Aardsma as a new member. The panel unanimously backed a $600 expenditure to print six double-sided signs promoting the Select Board's food waste policy at solid waste containers, and unanimously approved amended language for a Transfer Station parking policy for Select Board consideration.
Black Earth will launch town-wide curbside composting collection on June 26, pending a minimum of 30 sign-ups by June 2027; 20 residents are currently committed.
