CARLISLE — The Carlisle Affordable Housing Trust voted unanimously to approve project spending and a new member during a remote October meeting. Co-Chair Maureen Cosgrove-Deery convened the Trust to address the Bog House affordable housing project, which faces significant conservation concerns ahead of a mandatory two-thirds Town Meeting vote. The Trust approved $18,400 in invoices from LandTech and Bowery, planning a December meeting with conservation staff to address public concerns about parking and land arrangements.
On a separate motion, the Trust unanimously recommended Michael Shorey for appointment to the Trust by the Select Board. Planning for the controversial project continues as the Trust seeks to build public support before the warrant vote.
