Carlisle Youth Commission sets $25,000 budget with $5,000 merchandise cap. The commission, on a motion by member Brooke MackIntosh, approved spending limits for hats supporting its October Friday Night Live "Kicks for Cancer" event while advancing planning for a full fall and winter schedule, including an April off-site event at Roller Kingdom with free registration. Members reported fiscal strength with a $14,000 surplus and $17,500 in registration revenue this year; next year's Friday Night Live budget will increase to $25,000.
The June event drew 170 to 180 attendees from 200 registered participants, with the commission spending $800 under budget.
