CARLISLE — The Carlisle Youth Commission unanimously voted to request a budget increase to $25,000 from the current $20,000 spending cap. Heather Wright reported the commission has accumulated a surplus it cannot currently access and recommended the raise to allow deployment of those funds. The April Friday Night Live event at Roller Kingdom will feature phone check-in procedures, candy raffles using roster draws, glow-stick swag, and an honor-system snack model; the commission budgeted $3,000 for that event.
May and June events will carry graduation and pride themes, respectively.
